There is a simple way to test the basic functionality of the AES50 interfaces on the Behringer X32/Midas M32:
- Set the clock source to internal
- Connect the AES-A to AES-B with a working ethernet cable (possible short)
- Both AES should be seen in the status as connected (green). It should report that the port is connected to a X32 (or M32 respectively) console.
