Hello from France!
I’m a bit of a bad musician: I’ve been a fan of computer-assisted music since the late '90s, and ever since, I’ve kept trying to make music (or noise!) using just a mouse and software.
It comes in phases, but I stay interested in all the latest software developments ( example : https://faust.grame.fr/ ). I even have a bit of MIDI gear now so that I can interact with the software instead of just using a mouse. (I love the feel of MPE controllers.)
On the tech side, I work as a network administrator, so I have a foundation in Linux systems. However, when it comes to the embedded world, I only have a brief overview from messing around with Raspberry Pis.
Finally, as far as electronics go, I’m a complete novice, but I’d really like to improve.
I was lucky enough to find a broken X32 Producer, and while searching the web, I stumbled upon the openX32 project. During my research, I found a ton of information on power supply repairs. https://christian-marty.ch/electricThings/behringerX32Repair
My X32P boots up, but after a few seconds, it goes into a boot loop (both with the stock OS and with openX32).
So, I’m going to create a post to document the power supply repair in order to contribute to your awesome project!
