OpenX32 opens a serial console on the MIDI-Ports, to login into Linux without networking.
The i.MX25 is not sending RS232 but TTL-UART, so you need a TTL-UART-to-USB-Adapter (like this https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/CP2102_USB_UART_Board_(micro))
